Newman Crowned the King of Crate at North Alabama

Ashley Newman raced to a win and the new title "King of Crate" at North Alabama Speedway on August 10. The victory came during the Rogers-Dabbs Crate Racin' USA 604 Series event and garnered a $10,000 payday.

Newman led all 75 laps and battled several restarts before visiting Victory Lane. This would mark his first Crate Racin' USA Series victory. What did Newman have to say after the checkered flag flew?

“I’m as shocked as anybody,” was his response.
